Existence and stability of electromagnetic Stekloff eigenvalues with a trace class modification

A recent area of interest is the development and study eigenvalue problems arising in scattering theory that may provide potential target signatures for use nondestructive testing materials. We consider a generalization electromagnetic Stekloff problem depends upon smoothing parameter, which we establish two main results were previously unavailable this type problem. First, trace class operators to prove infinitely many eigenvalues exist sufficiently high degree smoothing, even an absorbing medium. Second, leverage regularity Maxwell's equations order stability with respect material coefficients, show generalized converges standard as parameter approaches zero.
